Youth ages 11-14 are invited to learn, explore, build, and create through hands-on aviation experiences and mentorship while gaining real-world skills, making friends, and having fun.

Program Dates:

Recommended Contribution is $200.

Please note that completing this registration form enrolls your child in the full Fall Junior Flight Club program, which includes all five Sundays in November. Individual Sunday registrations are not available. However, we understand that scheduling conflicts may arise, and participants are not required to attend every session.

PARENTAL CONSENT & LIABILITY WAIVER





By electronically signing this agreement, I give permission for my child (named above) to participate in all activities of the Flight Club 502 Aviation Camp, including educational tours and hands-on aviation activities.





I acknowledge and agree that:





The Louisville Regional Airport Authority (LRAA), Flight Club 502, and its partners are not liable for any unforeseen circumstances that may affect camp programming.





Secure areas of the airport may require mature behavior. Flight Club 502 maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding inappropriate conduct.





Ground transportation for offsite activities may be provided by adult volunteers and senior youth leaders.





By signing below, I agree to release Flight Club 502, LRAA, and their respective officers, agents, and employees from any liability related to my child’s participation in the program, except in cases of willful misconduct.

 

PHOTO CONSENT





Flight Club 502 requires permission to use your child’s photograph to promote aviation camps and Flight Club 502 programs. Images may be used in print and online publications, presentations, websites, and social media. No royalty, fee, or compensation will be provided for the use of these images.

Core Expectations




1. Respect for People











      • Treat all members, staff, volunteers, instructors, and guests with courtesy and kindness.







      • Disrespectful language, bullying, harassment, or exclusion of others will not be tolerated.







      • Practice inclusivity and teamwork—Flight Club 502 welcomes all.







    2. Respect for Property











        • Handle all Flight Club 502 and airport property—including aircraft, tools, equipment, and simulators—with care.







        • Clean up after yourself and help maintain a safe and organized facility.







        • Vandalism, theft, or intentional damage may result in immediate suspension.







      3. Respect for Safety and FAA Rules











          • Follow all airport and FAA rules at all times.







          • Never enter restricted areas or approach aircraft without supervision or authorization.







          • Always follow safety instructions from adults, instructors, and mentors.









        Personal Conduct




        4. Professional Behavior











            • Use respectful and appropriate language. Profanity and offensive speech are not acceptable.







            • Dress appropriately for work around the hangar and during all programming.







            • Represent Flight Club 502 with pride—in person, online, and in the community.







          5. Drugs, Alcohol, and Tobacco











              • While any youth member possesses, is consuming or is under the influence of alcoholic beverages and/or controlled substances, such youth members are prohibited from Flight Club 502 property, Flight Club 502 aircraft, and all club-related events and travel. 







              • Youth members shall not use tobacco products or vapes while on Flight Club 502 property, in Flight Club 502 aircraft or during club related events or travel.







              • Pilots and youth participating in flight-related programming shall comply with applicable FAA substance prohibitions.







            6. Drug Testing Policy











                • Flight Club 502 reserves the right to condition participation (initial or continued) in its programs and/or presence in its aircraft or on its property upon submission to periodic or random drug testing satisfactory to Flight Club 502. 







              7. No Weapons or Dangerous Items











                  • Weapons, including knives, firearms, ammunition and replicas, are strictly prohibited in Flight Club 502 buildings, in Flight Club 502 aircraft, and at any Flight Club 502 activity.  Leave your weapons at home or in your locked car.









                Leadership & Responsibility




                8. Be Accountable











                    • Take responsibility for your actions. Own mistakes, make corrections, and grow from them.







                    • Ask for help when needed; offer support when able.







                  9. Model Positive Leadership











                      • Older or returning members are expected to lead by example.







                      • Be patient and encouraging with younger or newer members.







                      • Peer mentorship is a privilege that comes with responsibility.









                    Commitment & Participation




                    10. Honor Your Commitments











                        • Show up on time and ready to participate.







                        • Notify your team leader or program coordinator in advance if you cannot attend a scheduled shift, build session, or class.







                        • Follow through on assigned responsibilities.









                      11. Use Time Wisely











                          • During programming or work time, phones and social media use should be minimal and appropriate.







                          • No horseplay, inappropriate humor, or misuse of equipment.









                        Consequences for Violations




                        Flight Club 502 is a mentorship-driven program, and we believe in learning from mistakes. However, serious or repeated violations of this Code may result in:











                            • Verbal warning or coaching







                            • Loss of privileges (flight time, simulator access, leadership roles)







                            • Parental notification and review







                            • Temporary or permanent expulsion from Flight Club 502 programs and properties.






                          • Reporting to airport authorities or other officials in cases of safety or legal violation
